CMU-Q announces Qatar Campus Scholars, Class of 2023
Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a Qatar Foundation partner university, has announced the Qatar Campus Scholars for the graduating class of 2023.
The Qatar Campus Scholars for the Class of 2023 are: Fatima Alhamadi for biological sciences, Ihsane Sadiki for business administration, Nour Ali for computational biology, Mohammed Al-Jawaheri for computer science, and Premices Irakoze for information systems.
Chosen from a senior class of approximately 100 students, the Qatar Campus Scholars embody high standards of academic excellence. They have also been strong leaders within the community, and demonstrated multi-dimensional characteristics such as volunteerism, involvement in student organizations, and participation in sports or the arts.
The Andrew Carnegie Society Scholar is an annual award from the Pittsburgh campus that is extended to two Qatar campus graduating seniors. For the Class of 2023, the Andrew Carnegie Society Scholars are Fatima Alhamadi and Mohammed Al-Jawaheri.
The scholars will be recognized at the Senior Awards Ceremony in April 2023, as well as the Class of 2023 graduation ceremony that will take place in May 2023.
