Carnegie Mellon Qatar welcomes six new faculty members 

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a Qatar Foundation partner university, welcomed six new faculty members for the new academic year. 

The new faculty members are: Mohammad Aazam, assistant teaching professor, information systems, Cristian Dimitriu, visiting associate professor, philosophy, Madhavi K. Ganapathiraju, visiting associate teaching professor, computational biology, computer science, Maher Hakim, distinguished career professor, business administration, Mazen Sidani, visiting assistant teaching professor, biological sciences, and Anthony Weston, associate teaching professor, mathematics.

CMU-Q offers undergraduate programs in biological sciences, business administration, computer science and information systems. Faculty members in the arts and sciences teach mandatory and elective courses in a variety of fields.
