CMU-Q placed third in Enterprise Challenge Qatar 2015, a competition designed to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship in young people. Awais Shamim, Faran Farooq, Mounir Sheikh, Sherif Rizk and Ibrahim Soltan were on the team Price Takers, taking third place overall.

A second CMU-Q team also placed in the top six: the Andrews team included Osama Qureshi, Saad Asim, Taimoor Zahid, Sulaiman Mehmood and Sohaib Ahmed. CMU-Q was the only college to have two teams in the top six.

Enterprise Challenge Qatar is an annual competition that tests students’ business knowledge and skills. This year, 11 universities in Qatar participated in the two-part challenge that includes an ethical business challenge and a business simulation.
