Carnegie Mellon Qatar kicks off community partner lecture series

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a Qatar Foundation partner university, kicked off the Community Partner Lecture Series for the new academic year with a talk on data analytics. Now in its second year, the Community Partner Lecture Series features discussions by CMU-Q faculty members on pressing topics in business and leadership.

Sameer Mathur delivered the first lecture, titled “The Power of Business Analytics.” Mathur is the associate teaching professor of marketing and business technologies in CMU-Q’s business administration program.

The series will continue on November 7 with “Decision-making in uncertain times” by Agustín Indaco, assistant teaching professor of economics.
