Bouamor moderated the panel that included representatives from the Ministry of Municipality, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Transport, and Visit Qatar. The conversation focused on the intersection of these industries, exploring how digital transport impacts tourism, how smart cities influence public health, and how data governance underpins national innovation.
“As we invest in emerging technologies and smart solutions,” Bouamor challenged the panel, “we must ensure that sustainability and service excellence are not just end goals, but are embedded by design into every milestone of the roadmap.”
This year’s Smart City Expo Doha was part of the inaugural Mobile World Congress (MWC) Doha. While MWC focused on the backbone of digital transformation—next-generation networks, AI, and connectivity—the Smart City Expo served as the vital application layer, demonstrating how these technologies are deployed to solve real-world urban challenges.
