CMU’s Wilfried Sieg delivers John Patrick Crecine Distinguished Lecture in Social Sciences

Wilfried Sieg, Patrick Suppes Professor of Philosophy at CMU, spoke to CMU-Q about the move from mathematical thinking to computing and back to thinking, an evolution which has uncovered a refined proof search procedure. Sieg’s address was a John Patrick Crecine Distinguished Lecture in Social Sciences, named in honor of the dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at CMU from 1976 to 1983.
