Community partners are essential for our students. Through internships and jobs, students learn to put their knowledge into practice. Through mentoring, classroom discussions, networking and other learning opportunities, students appreciate the complexity of decision-making. Community partners deeply enrich the student experience and encourage them to find a path where they can make a difference.

In 2018, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar and the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation came together to create the Hamad bin Jassim Center for Computer Science Education, to help students in Qatar learn the fundamentals of computing.
