CS senior awarded Generation Google Scholarship 

Adan Jawad, a graduating senior in the Computer Science program, was awarded the Generation Google Scholarship for the North American region. The program supports aspiring computer scientists who demonstrate a strong academic record and leadership in the field. Jawad was selected through a rigorous application process that includes technical reviews and essays, with an acceptance rate of approximately 4%.

Beyond the $10,000 financial award for academic expenses, the scholarship connects Jawad to a global cohort of technology leaders. As a scholar, she receives direct consideration for Google’s post-graduate AI residency programs and access to exclusive networking opportunities within the company.
