CMU-Q professor addresses Asian ambassadors on the future of AI

DOHA, QATARNui Vatanasakdakul, teaching professor of Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), addressed a gathering of high-level diplomats and government officials on the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and human potential.

The talk, titled “Artificial Intelligence vs. Smart Humans: Asia’s role and global collaboration,” was delivered at a private luncheon organized by the Asian Ambassadors community in Doha. The event was attended by ambassadors representing 25 Asian nations, as well as officials from Qatar.

During the address, Vatanasakdakul explored the critical intersection of AI and Information Systems, emphasizing the future of work, the potential for Qatar to be a hub for AI innovation, and the importance of education leadership in an AI-driven world.
