About TAFL Talks
TAFL Talks is a series of events in Arabic designed to foster discussions that bridge theory and practice in the teaching of Arabic as a second language. The initiative aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise across geographic and linguistic boundaries. Topics will include strategies for enhancing language proficiency, the use of artificial intelligence in Arabic language instruction, assessment principles, and other key issues shaping Arabic classrooms. The series is organized and hosted by Dr. Nesrine Basheer (The University of British Columbia), Dr. Lama Nassif (Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar), and Dr. Radwa El Barouni (The University of Pennsylvania).
