DOHA, QATAR – Nearly 30 organizations in Qatar’s technology sector gathered at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) to meet and network with students in the computer science and information systems fields. The second annual Careers Platform: Technology Edition provided an opportunity for employers in the growing high-tech sector to meet the next generation of high-tech professionals.

Michael Trick, dean of CMU-Q, stressed the importance of bringing together students and experts in the technology sector: “These organizations are more than just potential employers, they are a resource for our students to learn how the industry is growing in Qatar. Sometimes a small piece of information can open up a new world of career possibilities.”
