Alum startup accepted into Alchemist Accelerator program in Silicon Valley

A startup created by CMU-Q alumni Sabih Bin Wasi, Rukhsar Neyaz Khan and Jiyda Moussa has been accepted into Alchemist Accelerator, one of the best startup training programs in Silicon Valley.

The three graduates developed Metis, an app to help guide students to the optimal selection of courses by learning about their personalities, likes and interests. By the time they graduated from CMU-Q, Metis had progressed through to the alpha launch stage. After graduation, Metis was incubated through Qatar Science and Technology Park and the AlFaisal – Carnegie Mellon Innovation Entrepreneurship Center.

“We are so excited to join this program and be in Silicon Valley, it’s the next big step in our pursuit of becoming a real startup,” said Bin Wasi.

The Alchemist Accelerator is exclusively for startups whose revenue comes from enterprises, not consumers. The accelerator focuses on enterprise customer development, sales, market validation, and a structured path to fundraising.
