The CMU-Q Computing Hub will offer a free workshop to all students in Qatar. The workshop, titled “How to make a multiplayer game” will be hosted by Mohamed Mahgoub, Co-founder and Game Developer at 4Knights Entertainment.

About the workshop:

The workshop will explain what Couch Multiplayer (CM) games are and the reasons for either making them or avoiding them when building your game. The workshop will explore real examples of old and new CM and how they are different from online multiplayer. There will be hands-on examples in GameMaker that can be transferred to any other game engines or programming languages.
