Qatar Foundation Math Circle

QF Math Circle is a weekly afterschool program for high school students who want to explore the wonderful world of mathematics. Students learn to think outside of the box to solve complex equations and word problems.

QF Math Circle is a multiversity initiative that was established by the mathematics faculty from several universities within Education City, including CMU-Q, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Texas A&M University at Qatar, VCUArts Qatar, and Weill Cornell Medicine—Qatar. The planning and development of the program also benefited from the valuable input of teachers at the Qatar Foundation high schools.

QF Math Circle sessions take place weekly during the academic year. See the schedule below for the next sessions.

About QF Math Circle

Who

What

A guiding aim of the program is to introduce students to captivating topics in the mathematical sciences that they might not ordinarily encounter at high school.

Where

Classes are taught at various locations in Education City.

QF Math Circle began in 2023 with sessions that prioritize interactive learning, encouraging students to actively engage with complex ideas in a collaborative setting.
QF Math Circle is a true multiversity program, supported by Qatar Foundation and taught by faculty members from the partner universities.
