Biotechnology Explorer Program

Experience a day in the life of a biological sciences student. High school students will spend the day conducting hands-on experiments that showcase what our current students are doing daily in the lab. Your day, if you choose to embark on this adventure, includes close interaction with current students to answer questions about university life, as well as faculty and staff to help facilitate your experience to the fullest.


The next Biotechnology Explorer Program session will take place October 24, 2026. Registration closes October 15.

About the Biotechnology Explorer Program

Who

All high school students in Qatar are welcome to apply.

What

Led by CMU-Q faculty and staff, high school students get an introduction to biological sciences laboratory work. Since labs are essential to the educational experience, this workshop allows science-minded students to explore, learn, and ask questions.

Where

The sessions take place in CMU-Q’s biological sciences laboratory. CMU-Q is located in Education City.
