Community Partner Workshops

CMU-Q is deeply committed to our role as a knowledge hub for the community. We created Community Partner Workshops to enhance the professional growth of our strategic partners, and to contribute to human capacity-building in Qatar.

About the workshops

Community Partner Workshops are targeted, professional development sessions that connect academic rigor with real-world application. The interactive workshops offer practical insights across critical domains including artificial intelligence, strategic leadership, process improvement, and decision-making. Community Partner Workshops are delivered by Carnegie Mellon faculty members from both the Qatar and Pittsburgh campuses.

Who attends the workshops?

Workshops are designed exclusively for Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar’s network of community partners. Participants include professionals, managers, and decision-makers across Qatar’s key sectors:

  • Government ministries and public agencies
  • Corporate and industry leadership
  • Research, educational, and healthcare institutions

Impact in Qatar

CMU-Q has held workshops for our strategic partners since 2012. In 2023, we revitalized the way we delivered these workshops, focusing on the key areas that are shaping Qatar and the world. Community Partner Workshops are targeted executive education sessions, actively supporting human capital development and contributing to the Qatar National Vision 2030.
