Integration Bee Competition

April 20 @ 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Calling all mathletes! The CMU-Q Integration Bee Competition wants to put your mathematical integration skills to the test. If you are an undergraduate university student in Qatar with a background in calculus 2 (knowledge of all integration techniques), come solve challenging definite and indefinite integrals and face off against your peers.

The Integration Bee is an annual calculus competition pioneered in 1981 by Andy Bernoff, an applied mathematics student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Similar contests are administered every year in universities and colleges across the United States and many other countries.

By bringing this competition to Qatar, the CMU-Q Integration Bee aims to assess, promote and celebrate excellence in mathematics, while fostering a sense of community among individuals with a shared interest in mathematics. The Integration Bee also provides an opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of calculus and improve their problem-solving abilities through healthy competition with fellow participants.
