Become a physicists for a day!

The Qatar Physics Society is organizing this event for high-school students and teachers where students will learn about particle physics, discover the world of Quarks and Leptons analyzing real data from CERN.

Students will learn answers to questions such as these and much more:

• What are the fundamental building blocks of matter?
• How can I identify them?
• Which forces hold them together?
• How do these forces work?
• How far have the secrets of forces and matter been understood so far?

At the end of the event, we will connect through live video conference to CERN. Students will be able to ask CERN scientists questions and hear to their answers. They will also listen and watch other students from around the world ask questions and will compare results.
