Biography

Amie Rollins joined Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar as the director of health and wellness in 2014, responsible for managing all aspects of the student's health and well-being.  Rollins verifies that the student's medical records are compliant with the university requirements and that all students have adequate health insurance coverage. Rollins guides students who need to seek treatment through the health care process in Qatar.

Rollins has planned, coordinated, implemented and evaluated educational programs geared towards the health and wellness of the CMU-Q student population. She provides individual consultations regarding stress, physical fitness, nutrition, high blood pressure, cholesterol, weight loss and chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease and asthma.
