This event is meant to serve as a platform to connect students, faculty and staff and share opinions regarding important issues on campus.
A celebration of the Class of 2017 students who earned University Honors, College Honors, Campus Scholars, Phi Kapa Phi inductions and/or Senior Student Leadership Awards for their work as a student. Honorees are encouraged to bring their families. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Qatar, the Dean's Lecture Series will feature Terry Jones, founder of Travelocity.com and founding chairman of Kayak.com, who will discuss "Disruption Off - What technologies are going to disrupt your market and how you can be the disruptor". Qatar Foundation hosts convocation for all Education City Universities. Carnegie Mellon's class of 2017 will participate in this important event.

The Class of 2017 are invited to pick up their diplomas and network with peers for their first event as Carnegie Mellon alumni. Light snacks will be served.
Admitted students who intend to enroll at Carnegie Mellon Qatar are required to pay the QAR 3650 (USD 1000) enrollment deposit by this date.

Art Trail is a new initiative created by QF’s Capital Projects Department that offers guided tours of the artwork located around Education City to the public. This month, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar will be featured with 13 artworks on display.
