The EDGE program is open to all incoming CMUQ students. For students requiring a student visa in order to study in Qatar, however, it is unfortunately not possible to process visa requests in time to enter Qatar for the program. We look forward to welcoming all students at New Student Orientation in August.

During the course of the program, you will:
- Create your first project and learn how Carnegie Mellon students work in teams and across disciplines
- Learn crucial skills to manage your time and study well
- Explore the academic resources available at CMU-Q
- Meet your professors, fellow students, and staff members who will support you throughout your time at CMU-Q
- Learn from upper-level student mentors who thrived during their first year
