Biography:
David Creswell is an Associate Professor in Psychology and the Neural Basis of Cognition at Carnegie Mellon University. His work focuses on understanding what makes people resilient under stress. He conducts theory-guided studies of stress management strategies (e.g., self-affirmation) and interventions (e.g., mindfulness training) to understand resilience pathways in the brain, peripheral physiology, and health. David’s research has resulted in early career awards from the American Psychological Association, the Social-Personality Health Network, and the Association for Psychological Science.
