CMU-Q students explore internships, jobs at Education City Career Fair 2019

Approximately 1,500 students and recent graduates from across Qatar Foundation visited the 2019 edition of the Education City Career Fair. Representatives from more than 60 local and international organizations met with job seekers, sharing job opportunities and information about their workplaces.

The Education City Career Fair is a collaboration between Qatar Foundation and the partner universities, including Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar.

“Although we offer different programs and our students have different career trajectories, all of the QF partner universities believe education is creating a bright future for Qatar,” said Michael Trick, dean of CMU-Q, who attended the launch of this year’s fair. “It is very encouraging to see so many opportunities for our students and new graduates to shine.”

The two-day event, which took place at the Education City Student Center, was sponsored by Qatar Shell and open to students and alumni from across Education City.
