CMU-Q alums elect new officers

The CMU-Q Alumni Association elected new officers to lead its Qatar Chapter. The new officers are: Saleh Al-Raisi (Class of 2014), president; Jummana Al-Kahlout (Class of 2011), vice president; Fatima Al-Emadi (Class of 2016), communication director; and Zuhair Syed (Class of 2014), finance director. Officers are elected for a two-year term.

The results were announced at the annual Alumni Senior Beach Social, an event where the graduating class and alumni members gather to meet and network. This year, more than 80 graduates and alumni attended the event.

The Class of 2017 is CMU-Q’s tenth graduating class. Alumni from CMU-Q are highly sought-after: many are pursuing careers in top organizations in Qatar and around the world, and a significant number have continued their studies at international graduate schools. With ten graduating classes, the total number of alumni is nearly 700.
