The Great Chemistry Quiz will take place online!

Step 1: Put together your team of 2-4 students with one accompanying faculty. You must also include one teacher per team.

Step 2: Touch up on your chemistry skills! Topics that will be tested include: stoichiometry/solutions, descriptive/laboratory, states of matter, thermodynamics, kinetics; equilibrium; oxidation – reduction, atomic structure/periodicity, bonding/molecular structure, organic/biochemistry.

Step 3: Registration is now closed!

Rules and regulations

• You should be in the final year of high school and studying chemistry.
• You must have 1 teacher per group
• Calculators are allowed. A data sheet containing constants and the periodic table will be provided to you. You will not be allowed to use other resources.
• Should teachers require additional information regarding the content of questions as they decide whether their students are prepared for the competition quiz, please click here for a style of quiz example.
