Director, Research Office
Meg Rogers has been director of the Research Office since 2013. She is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Research Office, including pre- and post-award, oversight of grant expenditures and audits, research compliance, and advising faculty. Rogers also serves as CMU-Q’s Authorized Research Office Representative with the Qatar National Research Fund, is a member CMU-Q’s IRB Board, and is a certified mediator. Rogers has 19 years of experience in university-sponsored research management and worked as a research associate on 10 sponsored research projects. Prior to coming to CMU-Q, Rogers was assistant director of the Institute for Science, Technology and Public Policy at Texas A&M University. She also previously worked in private industry heading community relations for a $154 million waste management project.
Member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), the Society of Research Administrators International (SRA), the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP), and Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R).
