Sports Advisory Committee

This Committee is was founded in 2007 as a means of funding distribution and general organization of student sports teams. It was funded, advised, and operated out of the Student Activities Office. It was made up of representatives from all sports clubs and teams which includes:


Racket Sports (Squash & Tennis) - Ramsey Ramadan and Urmilla Rosario

Men's Football - Bibo Hassan

Women's Football - Reem Al Muftah

Men's Basketball - Hadi Murtada

Women's Basketball - Salma Kayali

Cricket - Basit Iqbal

Tartans Fan Club


After a year, the committee model was abandoned and it was decided that sports teams would be individually advised by one of the staff members of the Office of Student Activities. You can find out more about the various sports teams here.
