While Qatar's new constitution ensures freedom of religion, some restrictions are placed on non-Muslims' public worship (and proselytism is illegal).

Christian Churches
The emir has recently given land for several of Qatar's churches to begin building churches; the Catholic church is already under construction and new Anglican and Orthodox church buildings are in the planning stages. However, most Christian groups are still meeting in private schools, villas and homes as well as at a chapel on the American military base.
Catholic
- Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church conducts Mass every day in a variety of languages and in a variety of locations. Check their website or contact the church office for specific Mass times. Contact: church office 442-5566, Vicariate of Arabia 582-0585, Website.
Anglican / Episcopalian
- Church of the Epiphany (Anglican/Episcopal): Fridays 9 a.m. and Sundays 7:30 p.m. at Doha English Speaking School near the TV roundabout. Contact: Rev Canon Bill Schwartz, 451-6798, Website
Protestant
Most of the Protestant groups meet Friday morning, but the base chapel also has Sunday evening services.

- Solid Rock Youth Group is Doha Fellowship's youth group for youth 14 years of age and older. The group meets Thursdays at 6 p.m. for dinner (10 QR) and Bible study. Leaders: Ernie and Terri Monaco, 483-5924

Orthodox
- Saint Isaac the Syrian and St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Qatar (Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem): The Church maintains the christian liturgies and prayers in the hall of a private school in the city of Doha. It is currently seeking to build a permanent church (the Church of St. Isaac and St. George) which will hold all church activities. Sunday school for cathechism of the youth are held every Thursday evening. The Sisterhood of Myrrh Bearers take the initiative of accomplishing many of the Church's social activities. Other Religions
- People of faiths other than Islam or Christianity worship privately. The Qatar government does not seem to allow public worship of these religions at this time.
- There is an active Satha Sai Baba Center in Doha.
