Weekends

The weekend days are Friday and Saturday, with Sunday through Thursday being the work week. This takes some getting used to, and you will forever be saying “on Monday, no I mean Sunday…” but weekends are still weekends and everyone kicks back. If you don’t like crowds, avoid the malls Thursday and Friday evenings. They are so crowded it is nearly impossible to find a parking spot. Most stores are closed until 3 or 4pm on Fridays, and the ones that are open in the morning, close from 11:30 – 1:30 for prayers.
