You are responsible for your phone and water/electricity bills at your place of residence and for your cell phone bills.

How to pay your bills

Phone bills can be paid at the QTel store in City Center Mall or at the kiosk in Landmark Mall. If you don't have your bill with you, you can still pay if you can tell them your phone number and the name in which it is registered. You can pay by cash, credit card, or ATM card. More recently (and conveniently) a QTel office has opened in the Recreation Center on campus; bills can also be paid there.

You can also sign up for online bill payment with eQtel, but you must sign up at the City Center store first. For more information see Cell Phones.

Water and electricity bills come together from Kahra Maa. They can be paid in person at that Kahra Maa store or online (Internet Explorer only, sadly) by credit card or ATM card. To log in you need your "Qatari ID/Establishment ID" (which is on your invoice, called "Customer No.") and your electricity number (which is in the pink box at the top left of your invoice).
