If anything, Starbucks is more popular in Doha than in the States. There are two in City Center Mall, one in The Mall, one in Landmark Mall, one in Hyatt Plaza, one in the Villagio Mall, and more scattered about the city. Particularly in the malls, the shops are typically packed with a mix of locals and expatriates at all hours.

There are also a number of other coffee shops around. Some are from smaller chains, such as Costa Coffee, and some seem to be independent.
