There are several places to buy Arabic souvenirs, and some nice things from India and Egypt. The card stores in all the malls have a selection of camels, brassware, pictures, and miniature Persian rugs. Oriental Carpet Company (on C-Ring, two lights past Salwah road intersection as you head towards the airport), Ghassan’s (you’ll have to have someone draw you a map for this one!), and Reshi’s (in Landmark Mall) have lovely furniture, rugs, and smaller items.
