Bathrooms are generally clean and easy to find, except in the souqs. There is often an attendant in them; you do not need to tip the attendant. Frequently there is no toilet paper so you may want to make a habit of carrying tissues. The stalls will have a hose that is used in lieu of paper, or private bathrooms will have a bidet.

For men, you should also be aware that in some areas there are washing stations for ablutions; to the unaware, some of these may appear to be slightly unusual urinals. If you're not absolutely sure, use a stall.
