Once you have arranged travel through Krystal Gula you will be contacted with details.
Cell Phone Service
When you arrive at your hotel, you will receive a welcome bag that includes a cell phone. Please keep this phone with you at all times.
Please return your cell phone to the front desk when you check out.
Additionally, please return any unused ground transportation vouchers with your cell phone.
Academic Regalia
Caps and gowns are required for participation in the graduation ceremony.
Please bring your academic regalia with you for the graduation procession. If required, gowns will be available in Qatar. Please be sure to contact Sheila with any questions.
Ground Transportation
Upon arrival at your hotel you will receive vouchers for ground transportation in your welcome bag. Please use these for transportation to Senior Celebration, Graduation and Education City Senior Convocation. You can also use them for transportation to restaurants, shopping, museums etc. It is good to give the transportation company at least a 2 hour notice.

This evening of awards, accolades and remembrances will start with a reception at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner and awards program will begin at 7:00 p.m.
This event will take place on campus and will last approximately two hours.
By invitation only. Pittsburgh guests are invited and can RSVP HERE.
Attire: Business
Invited Guests: Graduating Seniors, Parents, Pittsburgh Guests, Senior Staff, Faculty, Office of Marketing and Public Relations, Division of Student Affairs, Academic Resource Center Staff.
Graduation Ceremony
Monday, May 2, 2011
Graduation will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the assembly area. The ceremony will last approximately one hour and will be followed by a dinner reception in the east walkway.
Attire: Academic Regalia for faculty who will process
Invited Guests: Graduating Seniors, Parents, Family Members, Pittsburgh Guests, Faculty, Staff, Qatar Foundation Leadership, local Government officials and business leaders.
Processional Line Up
Meeting Location and Details:
- 6:00 p.m. Room 1213
- Leave your personal belongings (mobile phones, purses etc.) in this room. It will be locked during the ceremony and unlocked following the recessional.
- 6:45 p.m. Procession in curved corridor finalized.
- 7:00 p.m. Ceremony starts.
- Please return all borrowed regalia items to room 1213 following the event.

Senior Convocation will take place at 7:00 p.m. in Education City's Ceremonial Court.
Due to the Royal Family's participation and security involved, gates to Education City will be open between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
Present your invitation card at the entrance.
Attire: Business Formal
Invited Guests: Graduating seniors, parents, family members, faculty, staff, Qatar Foundation leadership, university leadership, local government officials and business leaders.
