The Facilities Management Directorate
Facility management is the practice of coordinating the physical workplace with the people and the work of the organisation. It integrates the principles of business administration, architecture, and the behavioural and engineering sciences.
FM MISSION
The Facilities Management Directorate of CMUQ looks after all (non-educational and non-IT) functions and services of the CMUQ campus, enabling the University to deliver its mission of “CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT TO DELIVER WORLD CLASS TEACHING AND LEARNING”.
FM VISION
Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar’s Facilities Management is the leader in service by responsiveness, timeliness, communication, and feedback to the customer. Facilities Management Directorate provides service to the University in such a manner that learning is enhanced, safety is assured, conservation of physical and financial resources is maximized, improvement by change becomes a constant, and each individual understands his/her role as a leader.
