Apart from the requirements listed in the New Students section, the university policy requires all international students to have health insurance coverage that include the following:
- Emergency Evacuation
- Repatriation
- Coverage for Health care in Qatar
- Mental Health Benefits
The university recommends interglobal insurance. You can apply on-line at the following website:

Click: "Area B" -> Select Area of Coverage -> Review coverage and rates -> Apply online -> Forward copy of electronic identification card to this office
If you choose an alternative insurance company, the coverage must include the above provisions and his office must receive documentation stating the coverage is included. In addition, please make sure documentation states the name of insurance company, policy number, your name as policy holder and duration of coverage should be listed through the 2009/2010 academic year (refer to checklist for full details)
