Programs of Study

Carnegie Mellon Qatar offers three undergraduate majors: Business Administration, Computer Science, and Information Systems.  All three programs require four years of full-time study, after which students earn a Bachelor of Science degree.

In addition to course in their major program, Carnegie Mellon students can take courses in a range of disciplines including chemistry, English, history, and architecture. These general education courses complement what students are learning in their majors and provide them with the opportunity to pursue special areas of interests.  Carnegie Mellon students also have the opportunity to take courses outside of their major at the other universities in Education City through a system called cross-registration.  Grades and credits earned through in cross-registration courses are counted as if the course were Carnegie Mellon's own.
