The Office of International Education promotes and facilitates study abroad and campus exchanges, and acts as a liaison to the university for international students. The office aims to provide all students with an international perspective and global awareness by developing international educational programs and activities.

Services
Study Abroad and Exchange Programs:
- Advise students who wish to study abroad regarding programs and options.
- Organize orientation programs for students who study abroad.
- Plan workshops on cultural adjustment, reentry issues, and other related topics.
- Liaise with the Office of International Education in Pittsburgh to facilitate study abroad and campus exchange programs.
Immigration
- Advise international students regarding immigration/visa procedures.
- Liaise with the Qatar Foundation to process residency permit and exit visa requests for QF-sponsored international students.
- Inform international students about changes in immigration regulations and about upcoming events.
General
- Advise international students regarding social and acculturation issues.
- Support and advise international and cultural groups.
- Collaborate with other offices, departments, and branch campuses to organize student programs that incorporate a cultural and/or international perspective.
- Mentor and maintain regular contact with students in assigned Diwani group.
