The Library’s services and resources support the current academic and research programs at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar.  Access to a large collection of databases, ejournals and ebooks are provided both onsite and remotely.

The library houses a physical collection of more than 10,000 print volumes in major disciplines of business administration, computer science and information systems, as well as general education topics including math, physical sciences, economics and history.  Cameo is the Library’s online platform for locating resources, and is integrated with the Pittsburgh holdings.

Materials can be borrowed from other educational institutions in Education City. Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is an essential and popular service provided to students, faculty and staff, and can be used to obtain resources available in Pittsburgh, as well as other resources not available through Cameo.  ILL expands our access to indispensable documents needed for research and study.  The ILLiad System is used to create an account, place requests, and check request status.  Journal articles are delivered electronically, unless otherwise requested. Ordered books will be sent to Carnegie Mellon Qatar for pickup.  Books and other material take between 7-11 days to arrive.

Library staff members are on-site during all open hours, and can provide assistance in both researching and obtaining resources.
